ASH Dash — All Seven Hills
Tasmania’s Premier Endurance Brevet
Looking for a challenge? A big challenge? The ASH Dash is the ride that defines Audax Tasmania’s climbing culture — 208 km with a massive 4,250 m of elevation, taking you up, over, and All Seven Hills (and yes… there are definitely seven, maybe even eight).
This is Tasmania’s premier and longest‑running long‑distance brevet — a true Audax Tasmania icon. For more than 30 years, the ASH Dash has stood as the ultimate testpiece for riders who crave towering climbs, wild landscapes, and the deep, hard‑earned satisfaction that only comes from conquering something genuinely monumental.
The route carves its way through some of the most spectacular terrain south of Hobart: the shimmering sweep of the Huon River, the open water vistas of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, the quiet orchards and deep forests of the Huon Valley, and a collection of climbs that will set your legs alight and your camera working overtime. These aren’t just hills — they’re the legendary Seven, the backbone of a ride that has shaped Tasmanian endurance cycling for decades.
Bring your climbing legs. Bring your sense of adventure. Bring your phone — you’ll want photos of this one.
