ASEA Annual General Meeting 2026
About this Event
ASEA’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday, 31 August 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and we need your voice at the table.
The AGM will feature a talk by Dawn Langman who has over four decades experience applying Steiner principles in eurythmy, drama and speech practice, and whose life work has focused on the transformative power of the spoken word.
The talk and discussion with Dawn will truly be something special!
In order for the ASEA AGM to go ahead we need a quorum of 50% of members. In particular if you are an ASEA member, please come and help us to ensure that we are quorate so this important event can go ahead and ASEA's work can continue!
Why this year's ASEA AGM matters more than most:
- we are putting up for discussion and member vote some long-overdue changes to ASEA's constitution that are critical to make ASEA practices fit for purpose and up to date and to enable smooth ASEA operations going forward. In order to do this we will need 2/3 of members present (so, more than the 50% needed for quorum). Please help us to get these important changes to the AGM.
- we need a new Chairperson! Our chairperson is leaving Adelaide and we will be looking for a new Chairperson at the AGM so that the important work of ASEA can continue. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested please come along.
The AGM is where key decisions are made, new directions are set, and the future of our association is shaped. Whether you’ve been involved for years or are new to ASEA, your input and presence truly matter. Don’t miss this chance to connect, contribute, and help strengthen our community for the year ahead.
We would love to see you in-person (particularly for Dawn's talk), but if you absolutely cannot attend in-person please come along online to help us make quorum with 50% of members, and hopefully also reach 2/3 of members so that we can discuss and vote on the important constitution changes!
Changes to the constitution will be available on the night and will also be sent out to all members 3 weeks in advance of the AGM.
A zoom link will also be sent in advance to those who cannot attend in-person.
