🐧 Sensory-Friendly Evening at Henson Robinson Zoo
Join Autism Support of Central Illinois (ASCI) for a special Sensory-Friendly Evening at Henson Robinson Zoo in Springfield!
After the zoo closes to the general public, families will have the opportunity to enjoy the zoo in a calmer, more relaxed environment designed with individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families in mind.
🐾 What to Expect:
- 🐧 Explore the zoo and visit your favorite animals
- 🚂 Zoo train will be running!
- 🦁 Animal encounters will be available throughout the evening
- 🌿 A quieter, more comfortable experience after regular zoo hours
- 💙 A welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals and families of all abilities
Whether you're visiting the penguins, lemurs, African painted dogs, spider monkeys, or discovering a new favorite animal, this evening is all about enjoying the zoo at your own pace.
