Have you ever wanted to try rock climbing but wanted to be surrounded by other supportive beginners?? Well now you can!
Join us on June 28th 9:30- 11am at Mosaic climbing for a private intro to climbing with other new and flourishing climbers. No experts. No weird looks. Just a group of people trying something new, talking, and encouraging words!
Tickets include:
1.5 hours of climbing practice
an intro session
a teacher to help you learn how to climb!
This event is designed to cultivate a welcoming, low-pressure environment for women, trans women, non-binary, and gender nonconforming people to experience climbing for the first time. It is a beginners lesson designed as a casual, community-focused gathering where attendees can try climbing in a supportive and low-pressure environment. No prior climbing experience is required.
The event will include open climbing time, opportunities for attendees to connect and socialize, and light guidance for those who are new to the gym. We will also have sweet treats and coffee available for those who want to partake. The overall goal is to create a welcoming space that encourages people to step outside their comfort zones while building community and connection.
Tickets are limited and only $25 - include private gym time, expert guidance, and other beginners to learn with. Members of The Somebody Society can attend for $10 with your email code. Not a member but want to be? Click here!

What to wear/bring:
- Please leave all rings and dangling jewelry at home, as these items can present a safety concern.
- We recommend comfortable athletic clothing suitable for a hike or a yoga class.
- The walls are textured, so many folks prefer pants over shorts to avoid abrasions.
- All equipment will be provided, including rental shoes. We suggest bringing a pair of socks!
- We have a refillable water bottle station, so a water bottle can come in handy.
- Please be aware that we do not provide lockers for valuables.

What is The Somebody Society?
