ASCEND: Advancing Veterinary Medicine Together

ASCEND is a full-day, multi-track veterinary symposium presented by Veterinary Specialty Hospital North County. Designed for veterinarians and veterinary support staff, ASCEND brings together clinical excellence, collaboration, and innovation in one dynamic learning experience.

The day will feature expert speakers across multiple specialty tracks, offering practical insights and advanced education to support every member of the veterinary team. Attendees will enjoy breakfast, lunch, and a lively Yappy Hour to close out the event, along with entertainment and meaningful opportunities to connect with colleagues and industry partners.

ASCEND is proud to support Frosted Faces Foundation, helping extend the impact of our profession beyond the hospital and into the community.

ASCEND is proud to support Frosted Faces Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing care and resources for senior pets and the families who love them. Since 2014, Frosted Faces has rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed aging dogs and cats while offering vital safety net services such as veterinary assistance, temporary boarding during times of crisis, and programs that keep pets with their people.

Our symposium will be held at the stunning TERI Campus of Life in San Marcos, California- a truly unique and inspiring venue. Nestled on 20 acres of serene, rolling hills, the Campus offers a beautiful and modern setting designed to foster connection, creativity, and community. Purposefully built to bring together individuals with disabilities, their families, and the greater community, the Campus is a shining example of innovation, inclusion, and excellence that align with VSH's values. With state-of-the-art amenities, breathtaking landscapes, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the TERI Campus of Life provides the perfect backdrop for a day of learning and collaboration.

Back by popular demand, VSH-NC presents ASCEND is bringing back the Body Art Bus. Yes, real tattoos! This year we are going bigger and better with more artists and a bigger bus. Sign-ups will be first come, first served, but with additional artists this year, even more attendees will have the opportunity to get tattooed.

Please be sure to indicate whether you plan to get a tattoo when you purchase your ticket so we can plan accordingly.
