About this Event
Presentation Description- This presentation shines light on the value forensic engineering brings to the AEC industry, specifically the civil & structural engineering sectors of the AEC industry. Many engineers have expressed that, prior to learning of a publicized engineering failure, they weren't aware of the existence of the forensic engineering practice. Attendees will be given a brief introduction to the practice of forensic engineering. Additionally, attendees will learn how the forensic engineering practice helps to inform and improve design and engineering. Finally, engineer attendees will be encouraged to look for opportunities for innovation, within their own sphere of expertise, that'll continue to enhance the engineering profession's honor, reliability, reputation, usefulness, and effectiveness for generations to come.
Presenter's Bio- Juwanza Campbell has a strong passion for engineering creativity and improving structural engineering and structural design through practical lessons learned and innovation.
