Captain's meeting: 8:45am
First serve: 9am
Target end time: 7pm
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
Pool play will be 2 sets to 25 on a 45 minute timer. No cap or until timer runs out. 5 minutes for warm up, and 40 minutes to play. The next round will start as soon as the timer is up.
After pools, there will be a short break, but NO DESIGNATED LUNCH BREAK so brackets can start as soon as possible. Winners bracket will be match play (25/25/15). Losers bracket will be 1 set to 25. No cap for bracket play.
After pool play, teams will be split into Upper and Lower brackets (subject to change depending on interest). The total number of teams will be capped at 20.
IMPORTANT:
Paying your team fee will secure your spot. Paid teams will have priority over unpaid teams (absolutely NO exceptions). Please have payments and rosters submitted by October 25th so pools can be finalized. No refunds will be given after October 25th, unless you find a replacement team.
Hosts are NOT responsible for any missing and/or forgotten items. All items found at the end of the tournament will be placed in the Academy Sports Center lost and found.
FACILITY/SCHOOL RULES:
- No drugs, weapons, alcohol, or smoking allowed in or on facility grounds.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to ANYONE.
- You will be asked to leave if you refuse to abide by the rules of the facility and school.
Once you lose in bracket play, you must stay and referee the next match. If you leave without reffing, you will not be invited back to the next tournament.
