What happens when the soulful melodies of jazz and R&B meet the unstoppable grooves of Afrobeats? Enter Asa Martinson & The Outlet (AM&TO)—a dynamic force of electrifying live performances that leaves both partygoers and industry heavyweights in awe.
Inspired by legends like James Brown, Tony Allen, George Duke, and D’Angelo, AM&TO has created a signature sound that’s fresh, vibrant, and unforgettable. Their journey has taken them to some of the UK’s most iconic stages—Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 Club, and the Barbican—where they’ve refined their genre-defying craft. Asa’s experience with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, where he trained gifted students, reinforced his belief in the power of cross-genre music. Now, with the backing of PPL for their debut single and EP, AM&TO is set to ignite the Soul Mama stage. Prepare for a night of unreleased gems, classic hits, and pure musical energy that promises to move your body and touch your soul.

PPL sponsored London based 7-piece band jazz fusion (Rnb/Afrobeats). Led by Asa Martinson the group is inspired by legends like James Brown, Tony Allen, George Duke, andhis mentor Julian Joseph. Their journey has taken them to some of the UK’s most iconic stages— this summer selling out Pizza Express Live (Dean Street), 91 Living Room and STEREO Covent Garden. As well as playing Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 Club, and the Barbican—where they’ve refined their genre- defying craft.
Asa’s experience with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, where he trains gifted school pupils, reinforced his belief in the power of cross-genre music. At this early point in his career Asa is already using his experience in the music industry to support his community.
