This March 14, we are excited to welcome back UNF Shakespeare to JABG with an outdoor production of As You Like It, Shakespeare’s most generous and life-affirming comedy!
With this performance, the Arboretum is not merely a backdrop. JABG offers audiences a space where reflection, imagination, and connection can flourish. It is a setting uniquely suited to Shakespeare’s pastoral vision and to the values JABG and UNF Shakespeare share: stewardship, curiosity, and community engagement.
UNF Shakespeare is an interdisciplinary, experiential-learning initiative that brings together students from across the university to develop professional skills through collaboration, leadership, and creative practice.
Doors open at 3:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 4:30 p.m. A food truck will be on-site, and beer and wine will be available for purchase. Come early, grab a bite or a drink, and settle in for an enchanting afternoon of Shakespeare under the trees!
