Join us for ArtWORKS, a professional development series presented by the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County, designed to help creative professionals build sustainable, thriving careers.

On August 14, join us for The Business of Being an Artist, a workshop exploring the practical skills and strategies that support a successful creative business. Whether you're an emerging artist or an established creative looking to grow your practice, you'll gain valuable insights into the financial, operational, and entrepreneurial side of making a living through the arts.

The workshop begins with Tim Fellow, Managing Partner at Ontic Partners, who will share practical guidance on the financial, HR, and operational foundations that help creative professionals and mission-driven organizations thrive.

Then, Emily Miquelon, a full-time working artist, will share her personal journey to building a sustainable creative career. Drawing from her own experience, Emily will discuss diversifying revenue streams, finding paid creative opportunities, navigating the realities of self-employment, and building a resilient arts practice.

You'll leave with practical tools, real-world perspectives, and new connections with fellow artists and creatives in our community.
