ArtWave Youth Workshop: Photography with Suzanne McCarthy

In this special summer-sized session of ArtWave, ages 10 to 14 will learn about digital photography in a hands-on, one-day workshop led by special guest instructor Suzanne McCarthy. Tuition for this 2-hour program is $15 for current OMAM members and $20 for future members. Students will need to bring a smartphone, camera, or iPad to take photos with during the workshop. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Suzanne McCarthy is an award-winning photographer and photo editor based in Ormond Beach, specializing in portrait, editorial, and fine art photography. A freelance photojournalist for The Ormond Beach Observer, she captures local events with a focus on storytelling. Her work has been featured in numerous juried exhibitions across Central Florida and in local galleries, including recognition from the Southeast Museum of Photography. She is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers and the Professional Photographers of America.
