ArtViews: Gender, Sexuality, and Cultural Norms

The American Federation of Arts (AFA) is excited to present ArtViews: Gender, Sexuality, and Cultural Norms, a thought-provoking symposium exploring gender, identity, and equity in the arts. Produced in collaboration with A.I.R. Gallery, this event will bring together artists, curators, scholars, and arts professionals to explore the evolving landscape of representation in the art world.

Through engaging discussions, we will consider gender and its intersections within shifting cultural norms and U.S. policies, reflect on the relationship between motherhood and cultural work, and address persistent barriers for women artists in the art market.

Panelists include Alison Croney, Molly Gochman, Lisa Kim, Florence Lynch, Dr, Ksenia M. Soboleva, Dr. Katharine Wright, and more!
