A Free Arts & Culture Bus Tour for kids of all ages, brought to you by Saginaw Art Museum & Gardens!SEPTEMBER 20, 2025
Hop on board for a creative journey through Saginaw’s vibrant arts and culture scene! This free, two-hour guided bus tour is open to kids of all ages and offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the city’s most inspiring art and cultural landmarks.
Registration is required. The deadline is September 18.

Tour Highlights:
-Go backstage at the historic Temple Theatre
-Visit Pothoff Park to explore public artwork by Ryan Gregory
-Stop by the Shine Bright mural, one of Saginaw’s most colorful community landmarks
-After the tour, return to the museum for a hands-on art project inspired by Ryan Gregory’s work. Bring a lunch and enjoy it picnic-style in the museum’s beautiful garden space.
Free transportation is provided, but space is limited. Be sure to reserve your spot in advance!

Who: All ages welcome (kids, teens, adults, families!)
Duration: 2 hours and optional art activity and lunch afterward
Transportation: Bus provided
What to Bring: (optional): A packed lunch (for the garden picnic, please have your lunch labeled with your name)
Each reservation is limited to 2 adults and 4 children.
We prefer if no strollers are brought on the bus.
Children under 2 years old do not need to be registered if they can sit on an adult’s lap.
Please only sign up if you are sure you can attend.
If your plans change, let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your seats to others.
If you need any accommodations, let us know ASAP.
SCHEDULE
8:45-9:00 AM – Meet at Saginaw Art Museum & Gardens and Check-In
9:10 AM – Leave SAM
9:15 AM – Arrive at the Shine Bright Mural
9:40 AM – Leave Shine Bright
9:45 AM – Arrive at the Temple Theatre
10:25 AM – Leave the Temple
10:30 AM – Arrive at Pothoff Park
10:50 AM – Leave the Park
10:55 AM – Arrive back at SAM
11:00 AM – Enjoy an art project in the SAM Studio, and/or bring a lunch to enjoy in the gardens.
12:00/30 PM – Program ends.
