Arturo O'Farrill Afro Latin Jazz Quintet at Stockton Performing Arts Center

Belongó founder and Artistic Director Arturo O'Farrill brings his Afro Latin Jazz Quintet to the Stockton Performing Arts Center. The GRAMMY Award-winning pianist and bandleader plays Afro Cuban rhythm and his own writing with five musicians instead of eighteen: small enough that every player is exposed, big enough to swing a full house.
The quintet is where this music breathes, the rhythms of the Americas in close conversation. Galloway sits inside an easy Saturday drive of Philadelphia, Atlantic City and New York, and Stockton has kept this night within reach of its students and its neighbors. That combination is how a new listener ends up in the room.
Come spend a Saturday night with us in Galloway.
