Arts Partners Standards of Practice Community Gathering

Join arts partners from across Chicago for the next Arts Partner Standards of Practice (APSP) Community Gathering, part of Ingenuity’s ongoing monthly series focused on shaping the next phase of the (APSP).

Come ready to roll up your sleeves and help refine and strengthen APSP, working in small groups to share feedback, mark up ideas, and offer real-time insights grounded in your practitioner experience. Participants are encouraged to bring their preferred note-taking tools and a device to access a Google Form that will be used throughout the session.

Whether APSP is new to you or something you’ve engaged with before, you’re invited to bring your practitioner lens as we explore what stays, what shifts, and what’s next. Community input from this session will directly inform forthcoming APSP updates and alignment with the emerging Partner Designation Criteria in the CPS Arts Education Plan 2.0.

Ingenuity offers $150 honoraria for teaching artists attending this session.

Event Objectives

HEAD: Examine and discuss the current Organizational Quality Framework Arts Partner Standards of Practice (APSP)

HEART: Build relationships and make connections with arts education practitioners and leaders in Chicago

HANDS: Share feedback around the current Organizational Quality Framework APSP criteria to inform what is included in the arts partner designation process in CPS, as named in 2.4.1 of the Cultivating Creativity Arts Education Plan
