Arts on the Green is a juried Fine Arts and Crafts Festival benefiting the Arts Association of Oldham County (AAOC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Now in its 25th year, this festival takes place in the beautiful 22-acre Maples Park in Crestwood, KY on June 13-14, 2026.

The event features:

  • Artist demonstrations

We attract 8,000-10,000 visitors annually with FREE ADMISSION for the public. This juried event maintains high standards by auditing booths to prevent buy/sell and mass-produced vendors, ensuring a quality experience for both artists and visitors.

  • Saturday, June 13, 2026: 10am - 5pm
  • Sunday, June 14, 2026: 10am - 4pm

Artist Categories: Ceramics, Consumables, Drawing, Digital Art, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, 2D Mixed-Media, 3D Mixed Media, Metal/Blacksmithing, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Wood.

Artist Awards:

  • 1st Place: Award + $100 per category
  • 2nd & 3rd Place: Awards per category
  • Best of Show: Award + $300 + FREE booth at AOG 2027 + Featured Artist status for 2027

RULES/REGULATIONS

Artist Eligibility:

  • Only artists displaying their own original works are eligible
  • Artist must be present throughout both days of the show
  • Photo ID required at check-in must match application name

Prohibited Vendors:

  • Buy-sell artwork distributors
  • Factory or team-assembled artwork
  • Representatives selling others' work
  • Kit-assembled items or imported/mass-produced items

Reproductions Policy:

  • All original artwork should be signed when possible
  • All reproductions must be clearly labeled
  • Reproductions should not exceed 10% of total offerings
  • For 2D artists, prints must be labeled and numbered editions only
  • Prints can comprise up to 50% of total display
  • Giclee prints are accepted in painting category

Multiple Categories/Jewelry:

  • Artists may exhibit in up to two categories but must jury and be accepted into each
  • Jewelry as an adjunct (up to 10% of offerings) requires separate jewelry category acceptance
  • Booth sharing requires special permission from Director

Emergency/Safety:

  • Stay alert to inclement weather
  • Tents must be secured with weights
  • Tent stakes permitted in grassy areas
  • Additional emergency information will be provided before the show

Kentucky Sales Tax: Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting 6% KY sales tax

Venue Rules:

  • Park open dawn to dusk
  • No smoking
  • No fireworks or firearms
  • Well-behaved pets on leashes permitted


Setup/Breakdown:

  • Setup: Friday, June 12, 9am - 6pm (staggered times)
  • Saturday setup by Director approval only
  • Breakdown: Sunday, June 14, 4pm - 7pm
  • Early breakdown requires Director approval
  • Park gates lock at dusk

Parking:

  • Onsite artist parking available
  • Trailers may remain in lot all weekend
  • Public parking in nearby lots with shuttle service
