Conquistadors for Kids: Family Fun in the 14th Colony!

Celebrate America 250 and Florida’s colonial history with a free day of creativity, discovery, and family fun at the museum.

Enjoy free museum admission, hands-on crafts, historic artifacts, storytime, and refreshments throughout the day.

View authentic 16th-century Spanish artifacts from historical reenactor Robert Feeney’s personal collection.

Choose Your Own Spanish Colonial Craft

Three hands-on activities:

• Create your own Spanish gold doubloons and decorate a pouch to hold your treasure
• Design a Spanish shield
• Make a Spanish royal crown

1:00-4:00 PM

Be the one to find the Treasure hidden somewhere in the museum and take-home extra gold!

Storytime in the Pioneer Exhibit

3:00 PM

Gather in the Pioneer Exhibit for a family-friendly storytime.

Enjoy our special "Pink Lemonade Fizz" refreshments.

RSVP Encouraged Walk-ins are always welcome, but advance registration helps us prepare enough craft supplies for everyone.
