About this Event

This 10 km guided bike tour explores what public art and monuments reveal about the history of St Boniface and Downtown:

  • Monument by Michel de Broin
  • Louis Riel by Marcien Lemay
  • Phare Ouest (Far West) by Marcel Gosselin
  • Woven Relations at The Forks
  • High Five by Jennifer Stillwell
  • Bloody Saturday by Bernie Miller and Noam Gonick
  • Maamaawi Naanaagadawendamowin (Gather Your Heart) by Fredrick Spence
  • Louis Riel by Miguel Joyal (Manitoba Legislative Building)

Tour will run as scheduled rain or shine, but will be cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm.

Tour participants are responsible for providing a bike and helmet. Ask us for bike rental recommendations! Bike Winnipeg volunteers will provide safety marshals to direct us.

Tour routes are not a loop, but you can be marshalled back to the start if requested.

Remember to pack plenty of water and sunscreen. No facilities are accessible during this ride.
