ArtRage Panel on Micron's Environmental & Economic Impact on Syracuse & CNY

ArtRage Gallery is hosting a panel discussion on Oct. 21st to explore Micron's environmental and economic impacts on Syracuse & CNY. The discussion will focus on Micron's effects on our wetlands and waterways, as well as the employment and economic concerns raised.
The event will be held on Wednesday, October 21st from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the ArtRage Gallery; doors open at 5:40 pm. ArtRage Gallery is located at 505 Hawley Ave. Admission is free, and drinks and appetizers will be served.
Featured Panelist
Catherine Landis: Professor at ESF, previously commented on the Micron DEIS wetlands section. She is also a plant biologist; she focuses on wetland studies.
Dick Kornbluth: Urban Jobs Task Force board chair, a nonprofit organization committed to establishing & promoting CBAs and other strategies that ensure local employment, training, contracting, and housing outcomes.
Bonita Siegel: President of Neighbors for a Better Micron, a grassroots organization of residents across Central New York coming together to ensure our future neighbor, Micron, prioritizes the community.
Don Hughes, Ph.D.: Teaches chemistry at Le Moyne College in Syracuse and has over 20 years of experience in environmental investigations, remediation, public education, and scientific writing.
WAER Senior Resident and Syracuse University Professor in Residence Chris Bolt will moderate the panel.
