Artists in Conversation: Franchell Mack Brown + Justice Dwight

Exhibiting artist Franchell Mack Brown and fellow Richmond-based artist Justice Dwight will come together in the gallery on Thursday, June 18, 5:30-6:30PM, to discuss Brown’s works on view in "Aww Sookie Sookie Now." As a multi-disciplinary artist, Brown incorporates a vast range of materials to convey stories that encourage and empower. You will find that crocheted ribbon, fused glass, pearls, and so much more combine to create a realm of peace and balance. Learn about Brown’s intention with her artworks and other topics as she and Dwight sit down for a friendly conversation. Questions from the audience are welcome and encouraged following the discussion.
