Artistry Plant Art

This workshop connects Black agricultural workers and descendants of Black agricultural workers to the history of Black farming in the Americas through the use of mixed media assemblages that incorporate plant matter and traditional art supplies. In addition to the use of seeds and fresh plant matter workshop attendees will use chaff discarded plant matter desiccated or wilted plant matter to promote a holistic ecological vision with paint feather and canvas flair.
