Artist Workshop: Relief Collage and Found Poetry with Marissa Tawney Thaler
About this Event
Join us for an afternoon of hands-on paper scrap magic and creative exercises. Have fun learning and practicing the art of Found or Blackout Poetry before constructing your own relief collage to take home.
All supplies provided, beginners welcome.

About your Instructor:
Marissa Tawney Thaler is a Lansing-based illustrator with a background in education. She holds a BFA from Kendall College of Arts and Design in Grand Rapids, and has participated in several art area communities including 4th Culture and Briarwood Art Collective. Currently she is working on a new mural in East Lansing, participating in the Summer Art Festival circut, and leading summer programs for REACH Studio Art.
