Wooden Collage & Assemblage

Discover the beauty of transformation through a hands-on creative workshop inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Yūgen, an appreciation of the subtle, mysterious beauty found in nature and the unseen.

Using a curated selection of reclaimed wood, including plywood and MDF shapes, participants will create their own unique collage and assemblage artwork. Guided through the creative process, you'll explore composition, texture, and storytelling while reflecting on themes of renewal, contemplation, and our connection to the natural world.

Once your composition is complete, you'll bring it to life with paint and mixed-media techniques, transforming recycled materials into a one-of-a-kind sculptural artwork to take home.

No previous artistic experience is required. This workshop is designed for anyone looking to slow down, explore their creativity, and create something meaningful in a relaxed and inspiring environment.
