In celebration of Ụzọchukwu’s solo exhibition NEW SUNS curated by Ekow Eshun, this talk touches on topics of identity, representation and the natural environment. David’s work stands out through surreal landscapes and empowered bodies, taking the spectator into new realities that seem bittersweet considering today’s inequalities. With a visceral approach in both photography and film, David impresses with bold storytelling that both mesmerizes and challenges his audience.

David Ụzọchukwu’s work stretches from photography over fashion film, like DIMENSIONISM for Iris van Herpen, to his latest work as episodic director for German TV series “Schwarze Früchte”.
