Join us for a special evening of art, storytelling, and conversation as the Granville Center for the Arts partners with the Great Circle Alliance to welcome Spirit Lake Dakota artist Marlena Myles for an inspiring artist talk and short film screening, Realms of Resistance. The event takes place at the Granville Center for the Arts on Friday, April 17, from 6:30–7:30 PM, and will conclude with a live Q&A.Marlena Myles is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores Indigenous relationships with the natural world while sharing stories rooted in hope, resilience, and love for future generations. Her career includes three site-specific public art installations across Minnesota, and she is also the founder of a Dakota publishing company dedicated to uplifting, educating, and honoring the culture, language, and history of Dakota people.
Free and open to all.
