Boley is at the cusp of her rise: a recent Frick Arts Foundation Award recipient, her fractured, reflective canvases already command attention as one of Austin’s strong emerging voices.

Boley’s work resonates both locally and beyond: layered, abstracted and unapologetically contemporary. In 'between us', she meets Sørensen in contrast — two radically different vocabularies, equally compelling in their ability to provoke reflection and dialogue through materiality.
