About the Artist:
With an interest, nay, an obsession with animation and the art of cartoons and comic books I've tried drawing and mastering art over the years. I've given up more times than I can count due to not being what I perceived as 'Good enough'. Over the past year I've realized that art and doing art isn't about necessarily being 'good' at it, but DOING it. Creating art, even if it's fan art, or doesn't turn out the way I envisioned, it's still art and is an accomplishment. And since changing my mindset to this, I've seen so much improvement in my own techniques and skills and art has become one of the best parts of my life and I hope this can inspire others to pursue and share their art, even if they don't think it's 'good enough'.
Artist Mixers are an opportunity for artists of all disciplines in the community to meet, connect, and collaborate.
Drinks and light refreshments will be provided. We look forward to meeting you!
