Stop by for this exclusive Meet & Greet with artist Bobbie Ann Howell, whose work is currently displayed in the gallery at the Corn Creek Visitor Center. Her incredible cut paper exhibit, Friendly Pollinators: Freedom to Fly, will be displayed in the gallery until March 5th, 2025. Mark your calendars and save the date!
In an excerpt from her Artist Statement, Bobbie Ann Howell states, "Friendly Pollinators is a current series of works that draw attention to the vital need for the free movement of all types of pollinators: birds, bees, butterflies, moths, bats, insects, wind, and water, as well as women and children. The struggle of pollinators is our struggle as well. I hope my drawings provide a reminder to be mindful of the balance between the natural world and our human impact upon it."
Bobbie Ann Howell creates her artwork and teaches workshops from her studio, B.E.S.T. Arts 4 U, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her artworks are in public and private collections and exhibited in regional and national exhibitions. Howell was awarded the 2023 and 2018 Nevada Arts Council Visual Art Fellowship Award and was in the 2017 ArtPop Street Gallery, where one of her artworks was displayed on a billboard along Interstate 15 in Las Vegas, NV.
