The 905 Circle is excited to invite you to the very first installment of our Artist in Dialogue Series, featuring our June and July Artists in the Spotlight, Erin Sayago and Cadence Keely.
This intimate evening brings together artists, creatives, and community members for an honest conversation about what it means to build a creative practice in the 905. Through a moderated discussion, Erin and Cadence will share the stories behind their work, the realities of navigating the arts outside of Toronto's downtown core, and how identity, community, and lived experience continue to shape their creative journeys.
Whether you're an emerging artist, creative, or simply someone who enjoys meaningful conversation, this event offers an opportunity to connect, reflect, and engage with the people shaping the local arts community.
About The 905 Circle
The 905 Circle is a grassroots creative collective dedicated to celebrating and connecting young emerging artists across the 905 region (in areas including to and not limited to Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton and more). Through our monthly workshops, artist talks, events, workshops and creative programming, we create Third spaces where artists and community members can connect, collaborate, and grow together.
Our monthly Artist in the Spotlight series showcases local creatives making a positive impact in their communities by sharing their stories, creative practices, and artistic journeys. Our Artist in Dialogue series builds on this series by bringing featured artists together for an intimate, live conversation, giving audiences the opportunity to hear directly from the artists, ask questions, reflect, and connect through meaningful dialogue.

Meet the Artists
Cadence Keely is a singer-songwriter and playwright based in Milton, Ontario, whose work focuses on identity, vulnerability and self-image through emotional storytelling. As an artist of Punjabi and Irish heritage, her creative practice reflects an interest in navigating multiple cultural perspectives and in examing the complexities of connection, memory and self-expression. Influenced by Y2K pop music, contemporary songwriters, and narrative driven performance. Cadence blends music and storytelling to create emotionally resonant work grounded in personal reflection and authenticity.

Erin Sayago is a Filipino- Canadian ilustrator and graphic designer based in Missisauga, Ontario, inspired by music, fashion, culture, bold colours and graphic elements. Her work combines playful visual storytelling with engaging and emotionally engaging imagery. Through ilustration and design, Erin explores creativity as a form of joy, escapism, and personal expression while offering audiences visually emersive and artistic experiences.
