Join me March 6 from 5–7 PM at Aby’s in Rapid City for the opening night of my Artist Debut there!This show will hang through April 3, but this is the night I’ll be there in person. Come see my intricate work up close, ask questions, talk process, or just stand in it for a minute.
Originals, prints, & other creations will be available for purchase. HALF OF MY PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION.
About me:
I am a nomadic, Black Hills based artist currently focused on black & white pen drawings, though I work across a variety of mediums.
My recent work is heavily inspired by the landscapes & wildlife of this region, as well as my personal journey through grief & loss. The land here is rugged, resilient, & alive with presence. That energy finds its way into my lines.
I am guided by a strong innate sense of social justice & a lifelong love of surrealism. I create deeply intricate pieces that invite interpretation rather than dictate meaning.
Every composition holds layers.
Through ink, I explore identity, resilience, transformation, & the tension between beauty & ache.
