Artist & Creatives Meetup

Culinary artist, community builder, and Columbus, GA native Melissa Gibson Smith is the founder of Epiphany Space – a global artist community that connects online and in person at hubs in Los Angeles, CA & Columbus, GA.

Calling together individual creators from working in isolation, Melissa loves integrating her extensive hospitality background with her creative sensibilities to help artists connect and build relationships with each other.

Location for each monthly meetup varies, as does the monthly food theme. These will be provided upon sign up for the upcoming event.

A Cinematic & Storybook Picnic Themed Potluck

Hello July! The sunshine is golden, the grass is green, and it’s time to channel your inner Emma, Ratty, Maria, or Grace for an unforgettable evening of creative connection and classic picnic charm.

🧺✨ This month, we’re spreading the table and our imaginations with a PICNIC-themed potluck! Whether inspired by:

Emma’s elegant Box Hill afternoon

Mole & Ratty’s Wind in the Willows riverbank feast

The Sound of Music's alpine picnic with strudel and song

Or the seaside sophistication of Grace Kelly & Cary Grant on the French Riviera

…let’s make this a gathering worthy of storybooks and silver screens.

📅 WHEN: Friday, July 19th at 6 PM

🏡 WHERE: Hosted by the wonderful Jarrett & Kimberly Moore

📍 LOCATION: Columbus, off River Road (message [email protected] for the address)

🚗 PARKING: Please park at the top of the hill on the side of the road. Driveway reserved for seniors & unloading.

🍓🧀 FOOD & FEASTING – PICNIC STYLE!

Bring a dish to share, inspired by your favorite picnic scene or simply the flavors of a perfect outdoor spread. Think:

Fresh bread, cheeses, berries & lemonade

Hand pies, quiche, finger sandwiches

Austrian apple strudel or Provençal ratatouille

French tarts, chilled melon, rosé in jars

Anything you’d tuck into a wicker basket beneath the sun!
