Cold Process Soap Making Workshop with Brienne Bath & Beauty
Join the talented Brienne Bath & Beauty for an immersive, hands-on workshop exploring the art and science of cold process soap making. Learn every step of the process as Kelly guides participants through proper safety practices, the chemistry of saponification, and the use of a soap calculator tool to create balanced, skin-loving bars.
Discover swirling techniques, curing methods, and expert tips for achieving beautiful, professional-quality soap. The session concludes with guidance on removing and cutting your soap once it’s ready. Each participant will create a full mold yielding approximately eight bars—and keep the mold to continue soap making at home.
Depending on the chosen scent, participants can enhance their creations with dried botanicals or premade melt toppers for a stunning finishing touch. Please note that soap must remain in the mold for a minimum of 24 hours before de-molding and cutting.
Safety Requirements:
Personal protective gear (gloves, goggles, and disposable apron) will be provided. Because this workshop involves working with chemicals and lye (pre-measured to minimize handling), participants must wear long sleeves and closed-toe shoes.
