Wondering about AI, but not sure where to start learning? This workshop is suited for the AI-curious and AI-skeptical. It will cover what generative AI is and what it can (and cannot) do, focusing on publicly accessible tools and general skills like asking the right questions (prompting), evaluating AI-produced content, and ensuring your safety and privacy.
There will also be examples of ways it can be used, both personally and professionally, including in job searches and career mapping.
Presenters from Carnegie Mellon University's AI Institute for Societal Decision Making (AI-SDM) will speak and answer questions.
