Arthur Christmas | W Film Club
About this Event
Discover the high-tech secret behind Christmas Eve with Aardman and Sony Pictures Animation's hilarious holiday comedy, Arthur Christmas.
At Santa’s state-of-the-art mission control under the North Pole, a high-tech army of elves and a massive airship run by Santa’s eldest son, Steve, ensure every child receives a gift. But when one child out of hundreds of millions is accidentally missed, Steve dismisses it as an acceptable margin of error.
Santa’s youngest son, Arthur (James McAvoy), a clumsy but big-hearted romantic who works in the mailroom, refuses to leave a child forgotten. Teaming up with his rebellious Grand-Santa, a young gift-wrapping elf named Bryony, and an old-fashioned wooden sleigh pulled by untrained reindeer, Arthur launches an unruly, global race against time to deliver the final present before the sun comes up.
Packed with witty British humor, clever animation details, and heart-warming festive magic, Arthur Christmas is a modern Christmas favorite for the whole family.
