ABOUT THE DISCUSSION

With the rise and support of the artistic landscape in the Greater Boston area it is important to explore how creatives and organizers are using their presence and talents to make a difference in society. This conversation is important  to develop sustainability.   History has shown us the power that artists and creatives  possess in making changes that matter. Whether it’s in telling the stories of voices unheard, shedding light on pressing issues of the times or simply forcing audiences to think outside of the box.  

What does it mean to use your talents and passions as Black and Brown creative communities to take up space and raise awareness? How can we all better collaborate?? Join us as we hear from local artists and cultural curators who share how they each take up space and move the needle through their talents, actions and artistry.
