Visit the Museum for a midday ArtBreak with Sonya Muhammad, Bib & Tucker Sew-Op Board Member and Recycled Runway program manager. Muhammad will offer an insider look at the “Recycled Runway Archives” limited exhibition, sharing the history and impact of the program while walking through the creative process behind each piece, from initial theme development to the finished runway design.
An accomplished educator with more than twenty-five years of sewing experience, Muhammad manages programs for Bib & Tucker Sew-Op and has taught hundreds of students skills, including machine sewing, hand embroidery, quilting, and garment construction. Since becoming a member in 2019, she has led both youth programs and adult workshops, centering her work on education, sustainability, and creative expression.
