What You’ll Learn & Create
- Interesting insights into Georges Seurat and his art
Learn how Seurat combined art and science by studying color theory and optical mixing, placing small dots of pure color side by side so they blend in the viewer’s eye. Discover how his most famous work, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, changed the direction of modern art and introduced a new, methodical approach to painting. - Explore color, rhythm, and composition — step by step
Learn how to build images using dots, short strokes, and carefully planned color combinations. Guided instruction will help you understand how patience and structure can create luminous, vibrant effects using acrylic paint. - Create your own Seurat inspired artwork
Focus on pattern, harmony, and visual balance while developing a unique piece that reflects the principles of Pointillism.
No prior experience required. Come as you are—curiosity and creativity are all you need.
