Welcome to my art workshop!
Join artist Jen Holden for an intimate workshop playing with colour and form that will ultimately produce some peaceful art.
The fun, in person 2 hour workshops use inky water colours and pen, with the subject varying from botanicals, to sea creatures to birds on a wire.
Get ready to discover your creativity, reduce stress, and connect with like-minded individuals.
No experience needed - anyone can create!
All materials provided, and everyone gets to take their work home framed and ready to display!
Location:
Set in the historic Abbey Mills in Merton, home of the William Morris printing workshop, a working water mill still used by a potter and regular food and craft markets; the perfect spot to enjoy the sun, gently flowing water and good times with friends.
About the workshops:
Each workshop can accommodate 7 people, will run for 2 hours and have a theme:
- 28th July - Botanicals on an inky background - 2 sessions
- 18th August - Sea creatures on an inky background - 3 sessions
- 25th August - Colourful birds on a wire - 3 sessions
Please arrive 15 minutes before the session starts to settle in and make the most of the time.
About the Artist/Host:
Jen Holden is an artist based in South East London, she studied Art and Design, Graphic Design and Illustration at college. After many years away from the art world has found her way back to it again thanks to her battle with Long Covid, which led her to free-form painting and neurographic art, sparking a new appreciation and understanding of the brain and nervous system. She has been selling her work professionally since March 2024, continues to receive commissions and has participated in the Crystal Palace Artists Open House 2025 event. She has a deep desire to help others grow in their creativity and loves to share the tools she's learned that have led to healing and wellbeing in her own life.
