About this Event
Vintage Japanese kimono, once to fragile to wear, are being transformed into breathtaking art quilts by Honolulu textile artist and retired attorney Ellen Godbey Carson.
Through a special partnership with Catholic Charities Hawai‘i , a limited collection of these one-of-a-kind quilted wall hangings will help support CCH's mission of restoring hope and dignity to Hawai'i's most vulnerable neighbors.
Join us for "An Evening with the Artist," where Ellen will share the inspiring story behind her creative journey and the transformation of treasured kimono into extraordinary textile art.
Guests will have the opportunity to view these stunning works in person and learn how qualifying charitable gifts to CCH may be recognized with one of Ellen's handmade quilts as a meaningful expression of gratitude.
Space is limited. We invite you to join us for an evening of art, storytelling, and impact.
