Art Wellness Education Series:

Timucua Talks: Art & Civility
Dr. Joel Hunter, Chairman of the Central Florida Pledge, will be sharing learnings from his just-published field guide “The Pledge Approach to Faith and Politics,” which includes insights and practical guidance on balancing personal convictions with the interests of friends, influence of family, and community/workplace obligations.

Rabbi David Kay will also be sharing about the role of song in politics and civility.

A community Q&A session and will be incorporated.


About Rabbi David Kay:
Rabbi David Kay serves as the Chair of the Interfaith Council of Central Florida under the Ginsburg Family Foundation. He was ordained as a rabbi in 2002 by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, where he also received a Master of Arts in Jewish Education. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Ecology, Ethology, and Evolution from the University of Illinois. He has served as a Rabbi at the Congregation Ohev Shalom in Orlando from 2004 to 2021.
