[Art Therapy Experiential Workshop] Passage of Time: In Transition
About this Event
Art Therapy Experiential Workshop [2 Parts in October]
Designed for adults navigating the liminal space of personal and professional transitions—whether facing job insecurity, retrenchment, career pivots, or identity disruption from life stage shifts. This session is curated for individuals who feel they are in an unnamable phase, where everything appears fine on the surface yet feels profoundly misaligned.
The program is structured to support participants through a clear developmental journey:
- Identifying and naming the personal burdens they are carrying.
- Reorganizing a misaligned sense of self.
- Building the capacity to tolerate the discomfort inherent in uncertain spaces.
- Practicing hope as a tolerated, embodied strength rather than relying on forced positivity.
The experience is divided into Part 1 and Part 2; participants are welcome to join either session separately.
Part 1: Naming the Weight & Go with the Flow
Cultivating a shared understanding of the liminal and uncertain spaces we inhabit, we invite an experiential exploration that encourages going with the flow while building the capacity to tolerate the inherent discomfort found within the materiality.
Part 2: Naming the Weight & Piecing it Together
Through the experiential act of tracing shadows, we invite the movement to name the personal burdens and heavier weights held while traversing this liminal and uncertain space.
