Join us for an afternoon with Amber Young, whose vibrant and expressive paintings are currently on exhibition at Bright & Brine. Amber will share insight into her creative process, the ideas behind her work, and how colour, texture, and movement shape her paintings.
Amber Young is a New Brunswick artist whose work explores emotion, memory, and the natural world through bold colour and layered abstraction. Her paintings often balance spontaneity with careful composition, creating pieces that feel both energetic and deeply reflective.
During this informal artist talk, Amber will discuss how her work evolves from initial concept to finished painting, the materials and techniques she uses in the studio, and how place and personal experience influence her work.
