Amber Paris is an artist and social art practitioner based in Putney, Vermont. She received her BFA from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia in 2005 and works across a wide range of mediums, including installation, fiber arts, bookmaking, and painting. Passionate about social practice, Paris has initiated and facilitated collaborative community art projects and residencies throughout New England over the past decade. She also works as a teaching artist with organizations across the region, including The Community Engagement Lab, Art in the Neighborhood, and Main Street Arts. She has received several grants and awards recognizing her social practice initiatives and contributions to community-based art.
