8 weeks ago, 12 local Chilliwack artists enrolled in a business development program with one goal: turn their creative passion into a real, sustainable business.

They've been coached, challenged, and coached some more. Now it all comes down to one night for the 5 finalists.

On May 27, those 5 finalists take the stage at CoWork Chilliwack for the Live Pitch Event — the grand finale of the 2026 Art Startup Challenge. Think Shark Tank, but homegrown. Each artist pitches their creative business live to a panel of community judges, competing for $3,000 (1st place) and $1,500 (2nd place).

You'll witness the nerves, the passion, the real-time feedback — and the moment the winners are announced.
