👩‍🎨 About the Artist – Joannie Lockhart
Born in Saint John and now based in Moncton, Joannie began drawing at the age of 12 but pursued her passion seriously starting in 1999. She studied under the late J.P. (Joe) Collins from 1999–2004, refining her unique folk art style. Her works have been exhibited at the Moncton Public Library, Moncton Gallery, Moncton Art Society Gallery, and the Shediac Artists’ Village, where she’s been a long-time participant since 2002.
Joannie’s work is known for its attention to detail, creative sensibility, and honest expression.
