Art on the Porches 2025

General Information

Art on the Porches is an art show, sale, and joyful celebration of the historic Strathmore Neighborhood. Artists will be displaying and selling their work from the spacious porches and lawns of the beautiful historic homes along Ruskin Avenue. In addition to artists, we bring local musicians and food trucks to Ruskin Ave., as well as pop-up art installations and art workshops to create a fun-filled day for all ages!

Entries

Entries are accepted from artists of any media, but all art must be original. Artists must submit with their application 3 examples of their artwork. Digital images must be representative of the work the artist plans to show and sell. Email submissions should be labeled with the artist’s name and media.

The Art on the Porches Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject applications for work that does not appear to be hand made by the artist, or art that does not align with the mission of creating an enjoyable and safe atmosphere for all.

Work that has been produced from commercial kits, patterns, plans, prefabricated forms, or other commercial means is not permitted. All work displayed must be consistent with the images submitted at the time. Participation in any previous Art on the Porches Festival does not guarantee acceptance into the 2025 Festival.

Fees

Please note: this year we're changing our fee structure. While the entry fee is increasing, we will no longer collect a commission on sales. The registration fee is $60, payable via your eventbrite registration. The registration fee helps the Greater Strathmore Neighborhood Assocation and the Art on the Porches Committee to put on this wonderful day.

Porch spaces are limited, artists may be assigned lawn locations. Preference will be honored to the extent possible. Priority will be given to artists residing in the Greater Strathmore Neighborhood. Artists must provide their own displays. Artists with lawn assignments must provide their own booths. Standard booth size is 10x10. Electricity and WiFi are not guaranteed. Electricity and WiFi may be provided at the discretion of participating homeowners.

Applications must be received no later than August 31, 2025. There is no rain date, the event will be held rain or shine and there are no refunds.

In the weeks leading up to the event, we will provide information including setup and breakdown times, and load-in procedures. We will stay in touch throughout the summer with additional details. Please email us at [email protected] at any time with questions.

Agreement:

In registering for Art on the Porches, I agree to comply with all conditions set forth in the prospectus and hereby release and forever discharge the Greater Strathmore Neighborhood Association and it’s officers, agents, and participating homeowners from any responsibility, personal liability, loss, claims, or damage arising out of, or in connection with, the Art on the Porches Show and Sale.
