Art of Spirits turns Chattanooga cocktails into oil paintings, stories, a book, and a chance to try local drinks

Join Chattanooga artist Brandi Donan for Art of Spirits, a one-night cocktail-inspired art exhibit featuring original oil paintings, local cocktails, and the stories behind them.

For the last three years, Brandi has been turning cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks crafted by Chattanooga cocktail makers into original oil paintings — capturing the stories, personalities, restaurants, and people behind each drink.

The exhibit will feature 50 original paintings, a recipe/art book, and a Cocktail Trail map encouraging guests to visit the featured Chattanooga restaurants and bars.

Each painting began with a drink, but the final work tells a bigger story — sometimes moody, sometimes romantic, sometimes a little mysterious, and always rooted in Chattanooga’s creative spirit.

Guests can enjoy the artwork, purchase the book, view the originals, and try select cocktails, with proceeds from cocktail sales benefiting the Tennessee River Gorge Trust.
