Step into the vibrant world of creativity with artist Amy Jackson, whose engaging workshops invite both seasoned artists and curious beginners to explore their artistic potential. In this inspiring class, you’ll discover the timeless practice of plein air painting—an Impressionist-inspired approach that celebrates luminous color and dramatic light. While traditionally painted outdoors, this session will capture that same fresh, expressive style as you work from a photograph, learning to see with an artist’s eye.
Amy will guide you through brushwork techniques and compositional secrets that bring natural landscapes to life. Immersed in the sights and sounds of the Sawdust grounds, your experience becomes as much a part of the artwork as the image before you, leaving you with a one-of-a-kind masterpiece to call your own.
$145.00 per student which is fully inclusive of all materials.
Age Restrictions: Ages 15+
Skill Requirements: All skill levels welcome!
This class can accommodate a maximum of 15 students and requires a minimum of 6 students to proceed. Bring your friends!
