This evening brings together strong voices in the field of lifestyle medicine to explore how food can be a powerful tool for prevention, healing, and whole-person health.
Dr. Scott Stoll will guide us through his plant-focused approach to wellness. Dr. Columbus Batiste will explore the Seven Key Pillars of Heart Health—spirituality, exercise, love, food, intimacy, sleep, and humor—and their role in community and individual well-being. A segment with Rev. Dr. Natalie Mitchem, RDN and Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional and Karina Pearse, MS will underscore the impact of food on Brain Health, followed by cooking demonstrations and a food tasting featuring easy recipes for wellness, disease prevention, and recovery.
A portion of ticket sales will support the Mt. Pisgah AME Church, Princeton, NJ mission to empower communities and build health equity.
