Art of Gratitude: A Volunteer Appreciation Event

Williamson County Juvenile Services is honored to invite you to join us for a heartfelt evening dedicated entirely to YOU – our incredible volunteers who make such a profound difference in the lives of the youth we serve.
During National Volunteer Week (April 19–25, 2026), we're hosting this special gathering at our facility to say thank you in the most meaningful way we know how: with good food, great company, and direct messages of appreciation straight from the hearts of the kids you inspire every day.
Our volunteers bring a wide range of talents, inspiration, and compassion to the youth we serve. Some of you have been part of this mission for decades, while others are just beginning your journey with us. Whether long-standing or newly connected, each of you plays a vital role, and this event is a small but heartfelt way for us to say thank you. Many of you may not have had a chance to meet yet, so this is the perfect opportunity to connect, share stories, and network with fellow like-minded individuals who care deeply about our community.
The evening’s theme, Art of Gratitude, is inspired directly by the youth whose lives you impact every day. They have created original artwork that captures and conveys what gratitude means to them – and the results are personal and heartfelt. These pieces will be proudly displayed throughout the evening, surrounding us with their messages of thanks and the stories of connection and growth you’ve helped make possible.
Guests will enjoy dinner and dessert while connecting with fellow volunteers from across our programs. The evening is designed not only to recognize your service, but also to create space for community, conversation, and shared purpose.
As part of the experience, each artwork will be awarded to attending volunteers via a raffle drawing, and attendees will have the opportunity to vote for a featured piece. The selected artwork will be highlighted in future volunteer initiatives as a lasting tribute to this evening and the kids’ gratitude.
We will also hear from members of our department’s leadership, who will share their gratitude and reflect on the impact of your service.
We sincerely hope you will join us for this special evening of appreciation, connection, and celebration as our way of giving back a little of the joy and inspiration you give us every single day. Your dedication – whether mentoring, tutoring, ministering, or simply showing up with kindness – changes lives, and we can’t wait to celebrate that with you.
